Butterflies Bakeshop LLC is a Northern Virginia home-based bakeshop(state inspected) specializing in custom order pound cakes, cupcakes, and layer cakes. We are committed to making premium baked goods in small batches with the highest quality ingredients we can find. From the butter to the eggs, to the flour and even the salt… only the best ingredients are used. We love the notion of a simple, rustic, old-fashioned dessert. Nothing fancy, just good! Our products are perfect for gifting, special events and celebrations, (corporate meetings, birthdays, weddings, teacher appreciation, anniversaries, college care packages, etc). We believe that baked goods make sweet gifts and make gifting sweet!
The owner and head baker of Butterflies Bakeshop LLC, Veronne Williams, has always known that baking would be a part of her life. With her strong Georgia roots, a long line of sweet, southern bakers- not to mention, traveling the globe with her military family- her sense of adventure and passion for baking grew at an early age. Baking was a way of showing love to family and friends, both near and far. Veronne carries this same sweet perspective of giving in each custom order she creates for Butterflies Bakeshop. Couple this love of baking with an MBA from George Washington University and over 30 years of business experience, customers receive optimal professionalism, care and attention to their requests. She believes in giving from the heart and providing a place where giving is sweet- literally!
